Another week and another Tuesday Tidbits. We were hoping to take advantage of the summer-like weather and bust open the office door on to the new patio. However, we decided to let the concrete take a full week to cure (knowing that we’ll be knocking bricks around with a sledge hammer). So, even though our weather doesn’t seem like fall I decided to truly get into the autumn spirit.

As per our usual style, we keep things very simple and minimal…but still fall.

We had an old lamp (Trent bought it while we were dating…15 years ago) that was sitting in storage down in the basement. I decided to try it in the piano room and I love the softer light. The chandelier is so pretty in this room (and will still get plenty of use), but we needed something softer in the evenings.

The front porch is ready for our hundreds of trick-or-treaters we will have in a couple of weeks! I have been buying candy like crazy for the last month.

And…of course, Niles wanted to be part of the fall action!

The slag glass lamp does add softness to the room. You have impeccable taste in color and placement.

Your home is so nice and beautiful decorated for the fall season. Hopefully there will be no “black cats” around to disrupt Niles life. Anxious to see the opening of the office door.

I’d love to bring my black cats over for a play date with Niles!
