Tuesday Tidbits is here again and after a few months, I’m finally making my way through the last of the basement storage containers. Needless to say, I’ve made several trips to Goodwill. The good news is that things are finally just about organized around here.

We are still trying to figure out exactly what we are going to do (or want to do) with the yard. Patio, more trees, additional landscaping, etc. Lots of choices to make and the truth is our decision making brains are currently fried.

Thankfully, we have had some wonderful weather and even received some small storms with much needed rain.

Nothing fancy in our table decor, but I have slowly (still in process) acquired various dishes to mix up things on the table setting. Our meal was simple, but it’s fun to use different dishes for an every day meal. No, my place settings are not following basic rules…it’s very liberating to toss out the rules. It’s also fun to use fancy dishes for non-fancy meals like pizza.

While I haven’t actually decorated the end table yet, I wanted to give you another glimpse into our world. When we first moved in, I had purchased end tables for both the parlor and family room. I bought the largest end tables I could find and they still looked like babies in our rooms. So, I did the only logical thing: I bought a round dining table and tried it out as an end table…and it works. It’s the perfect size (it’s 52″).

And in case you were wondering, Niles is still king around here.

Have a wonderful week and thank you for following along!

Perfect pic of Niles with your text. He does appear to be lording over everything in this picture. We have a 48″ oak coffee table that my FIL cut down from his MIL’s kitchen table. It has to be at least 80 years old. Similar legs to your end table. And I love it.

Your photos are so rich in color. We are all anxious for things to start outside and can agree that you have many decisions to make. If you follow through with that like you have done inside, your property will look great….
