Ahhh…another busy week at our house! This Tuesday Tidbits is full of updates that are (thankfully) a little more exciting.

The original main level doors that we stripped, are now getting a coat of primer and just about ready for a couple coats of paint. I’m so excited to see them in place. They match the new doors on the second floor perfectly (or rather, the second floor doors match the original main level doors).

Thank goodness for a huge garage to get all this painting done in! (It’s possible Trent was maybe a little right about the size of the garage.)

If you follow along on FB or IG, you know that I placed the kitchen faucets just to see how they look. I love them! I’ll love them even more when they are actually installed.

The shower faucets ARE actually installed. And yes, all the faucets in the entire house are from the same family. Not identical…just the same DNA.

And in the master suite, we almost have our pedestal sinks installed. Big stuff!

I can’t wait to see it all put together in the next few days.

This may not look like much but trust me, it’s a big deal. This is the start of having our toilets installed. I don’t even need all of the toilets, just ONE. One working toilet for this gal with Crohn’s. I would like to give a personal thank-you to the Buchanan McDonald’s, Phillips 66 and Citgo gas stations…for never judging me when I came in to use your lovely facilities. I promise that I always made some kind of a purchase with each trip.

Sunday afternoon we were in the garage and we heard the sound of horses. I looked out the back door and sure enough, there was a parade of horses. When I said something to Trent, he jokingly said “who knows what’s going on. It’s Buchanan. There’s practically a parade every weekend for something.” Turns out, the group was having a walk/march/trot to raise money and awareness for kids without food in Buchanan (a very noble reason). Seriously though, who wouldn’t want to live in a town that doesn’t hesitate to shut down the main road for a good cause, a celebration or just a fun event?! Keep it up, Buchanan!

As we round out this final week of summer, enjoy the gorgeous weather and as always Thank You for following along!

Everything looks great! What are you planning for the Bottom space in your master bath tower, drawers or empty? I am trying to decide if I want to change the door to an empty space in mine. I guess they don’t make 12 in drawers for all cabinets :(.

You re making great headway, The sinks and fixtures look great and will be a nice addition to your home, Also, the lower level doors look nice too. Us guys, (especially car guys) can never have garages that are “too big”.
