It has been another super busy week! Our Tuesday Tidbits could seriously have 100 photos and updates this week – but I won’t bore you. Plus, I think it would take me an entire day to sort and download them all. Here are the week’s highlights:

Since Trent was able to build the 2 crazy angle doors last week, we were finally able to get the last trim and casing done on the second floor. The only thing left is quarter round trim in the bathrooms and we are done upstairs. Well, aside from the shower doors, all doorknobs, install of toilets, install of sinks, install of faucets, install of shower heads, flooring in the guest room, the master room and all closets. But those items feel minor at this point.

The trim is finally completed in all the small spaces (small spaces are the WORST to finish).

And the smallest space is the toilet closet in our master bathroom. Basically, Trent hangs half of his body out as he is on the floor nailing in the trim.

We also had the granite slab installed on the smaller fireplace. We still aren’t sure what we are going to do with the yellowish brick on the inside…baby steps.

By next week we should have photos of our completed countertops and backsplash. We are so excited about it! Hopefully, you had a wonderful end-of-summer weekend and as always, thank you for following along!

Got to love that marble in front of the fireplace with it’s impressive design. It takes out to nature and the wonders of our earth. Things are looking good upstairs and you are making great progress. Can’t wait to see the counter-tops and back-splashes next week. There are hints of fall outdoors, so take some time off and enjoy…..

Taking the plastic off of that bath tub is going to be like unwrapping a big present!!
