Another week means another Tuesday Tidbits and we are EXTREMELY pleased with this one! The drywall is moving along and we should be able to start painting next week (assuming I actually commit to some paint colors).

We knew the drywall would make the house feel a little more closed in, but it’s still a very large home and the windows and ceiling height definitely keep it feeling large.

The area for the master bathtub is looking exactly as we had hoped.

The master bedroom is coming together as well. We are so happy that we chose to add an additional skylight window in here.

This house has no shortage of lights (seriously, we may start a collection for all the lightbulbs we’ll be buying), but I’m super happy with how the two recessed lights over the family room window turned out. I think it will feel warm and cozy in the evening.

The coffered kitchen ceiling is turning out perfectly! After we finish painting, we will add crown molding in every single square (and here you thought that YOU had fun spring break plans!). There will also be several chandeliers strategically placed in the middle sections.

Here is a view from the front door all the way back.

While we are thrilled to be this far done, there is still so much more! It always feel like a house is close to completion at this point, but really it’s about 50%. Fun stuff is coming and we can’t wait!

Your continued collective workmanship is amazing! I am sure I am not the only one that looks forward to these posts. The dry wall really tops things nicely. I can feel the warmth already.
