Yes, you have listened read through all my comments/whining/complaining about the never ending garage painting for a month now. A month! We are so close…so very close to being done. The last parts were the super high peaks on each side and I needed Trent to help set up the scaffolding (okay, I needed him to actually set it up…I didn’t help with that at all). And since I was going to be 25-30 feet up, I felt like I should only handle this project when Trent was around. Just in case, ya’ know!

So, the last couple of days the weather cooperated along with our schedules and ba-da-bing! Major headway has been made.

Trent set the scaffolding on wood strips so that (while I was standing up on top), he would roll me to either side. Do NOT try this at home!

Trent left for a spell (to let me paint a large area while he worked on something inside)…this is when I realized he left the 8 foot ladder (that reaches the bottom step of the scaffolding) about 10 feet away from me. When I called him to tell him I was stuck, his response was “Haha! Oops!” Hmmmm…

The view was not half bad!

3 of the 4 sides are totally finished! The last little remaining part will (weather permitting) get done this weekend!!!!  I may have a party to celebrate this!

Is this something you’ll need to repeat every so-many years? Horrible thought, I know.
