So, another week has come and gone and we are still framing! I think we’ll be framing the interior of this home until 2018 (kidding…I hope). Here are a few of the updated framing pics. It’s tough to capture this on a camera because, well, it’s framing. You sorta’ look through it. **It’s at this point I realized I will have no choice but to upload a video walking through the house. Another day, another post.**

AmeriGreen has started our irrigation system (apparently just in time for a crazy, hot summer!) and once this is done, we will be ready for grass. Beautiful, soft, green grass. I may have to go roll around in it like a dog because I am dying to have a beautiful lawn that I can walk through with bare feet!

While I was cutting a handful of boards this past week I realized that I needed safety glasses on (normally, I’m not super safety minded but this time was different). Trent had his glasses on and I grabbed the most handy glasses I had: my sunglasses. Needless to say, Trent could not resist the photo op.

How many skylights did you install?

As of right now, we have a total of 6 skylights. We may add a couple more…not sure at this point.

You are really making great progress with the framing. We can begin to see the general shapes of the rooms and how everything ties together. Hope the sprinkler system work goes well and that you will have grass soon. Are you hydor-seeing or sodding?

Sod….definitely sod. Our neighbors deserve to have it done fast. They have put up with a LOT!
