Currently, we are in the super fun part of the project where something is new every day. Every. Single. Day. It’s pretty awesome. Sadly, we know that the boring part is coming. The part where all we do for weeks on end is fill nail holes, touch up paint and loads of other yawn-worthy events. But for now, it’s all  new and we LOVE it!

The garage was our first order of business (it was actually Trent’s first order…mine was picking out paint colors…I digress). As the photos will show, things are moving along quite well. Some of you have asked how we will finish the garage – to attempt to match the house. The plan is to do something complimentary while still including accents that tie it all together. (In non-blog words: we have only a vague idea and will figure it out as we go.) **Huge thanks again to our neighbors who continue to put up with the mess and noise!**

Woohoo! I had my roof replaced last year and it took them 2 months with 6 guys and my house is nowhere as big as yours! AMAZING!

Are you creating a breeze way between the garage and house?

We are! It will be about 90% glass (with some brick accents).

As a classic car owner, I would love to have that garage! Do you guys have something special to put in there? Great job with the house, btw.
