This week we officially started really working on the house.  Although, to be technical we are working on the carriage house.  Since we are living in the carriage house as we rehab the main house, there were a few things that needed to be done to make it livable (in my opinion).  Consider these the official “before” pics of the carriage house.

The main level (which will be converted back into a garage)

The basement (which has these SUPER cool arched doorways…in a basement…of a garage…can you imagine?!)

And the upper level (which will be our home for the next 2’ish years)

Many great memories of the first 22 years of my life in that house. My sister’s and my room had that little tiny closet I used to hide in! We had a washer dryer combination in the little alcove in the kitchen. The big ledge in the front bedroom is painted over – the wood is beautiful! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Love to see the old place. I lived in the carriage house from 1982ish. It looks very much the same. Lots of good memories.
