The past several weeks have been a whirlwind.  Here is a brief update:

1.  Our kitchen was used for a KitchenAid promo video shoot.  I’ve never been on any kind of set for filming (let alone have one in our home).  It was pretty cool!

2.  Our lower level is super close to being finished.  It’s a little sad because we thought this would be the time to select new furniture, start decorating and relax a little.  It’s NOT sad because, in case you haven’t heard, we have a new project on the horizon.

3.  We have a new project on the horizon.  It’s big.  It’s exciting. It’s a secret until Friday.  Check back here for all the details this Friday, February 27th.

Nice article in the South Bend Tribune!! Very cool of you two to buy the Kizer Mansion and bring it back as a single family home. While I haven’t lived in South Bend all my life, I was born and raised here and I live here now. I look forward to your progress and thank you for sharing such a wonderful loving project. Pictures, pictures, pictures please! 🙂

I have lived in South Bend my whole life and have never been inside the house but always admired it on the outside. So happy you are taking on this huge project, please keep posting update and good luck.
